Gary Smith – running for BOD

Sally and I became members during the summer of 2000 and currently have two slips. The past 21 years have given us access to the lake but more important, an opportunity to develop friendships while enjoying the facility itself. However, enjoying the facility comes with some responsibility. I have volunteered and assisted with both the opening and closing of the club for at least the past 10 years. I have been on committees to develop  recommendations for the betterment of the club and have shared observations and suggestions with prior board  presidents and members for the past 15 + years. I think it is time for me to do more. The club has been going in a good direction and I would like the opportunity to help it go further which is why I am requesting to be a candidate.
