Sept 2016 – Special Meeting summary

Thank you to everyone who came to the special meeting and to the 17 of you who sent in proxies.  I know sitting in a meeting isn’t the first choice for a holiday Saturday morning.

The minutes are in the final stages but here’s a quick summary of what happened for those who weren’t able to attend.  Generally speaking I’ve heard positive feedback about the information we presented.  If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to reach out to a BOD member.

As was presented, we discussed the boat sizing rule and policy, the construction update/plan and the membership voted to authorize construction spending and the assessment ($600).   We also received some suggestions such as sign improvements, traffic calming measures, information sharing (documents, minutes, member contact info, etc), as well as a question on when finger dock work would begin (short answer: nothing is planned, but will be part of our capital improvement planning).
