QYC Lighthouse

Quayside Yacht Club (QYC) is located on the northwestern section of Lake Winnipesaukee, near Long Island Bridge. The view overlooks the northern part of the Broads, with Five and Six mile Islands in the foreground, and Bear Island in the background. Originally the docks and a small building were part of Trexler's Marina. In 1986, 125 docks were sold by Trexler's to form a condominium arrangement with Quayside Yacht Club.

Since that time many renovations have been made to the Clubhouse and pavilion area. Initially some docks were replaced in the back dock area, and subsequently many pilings throughout the Marina were replaced. This work was followed by adding a new deck using Trex throughout the Marina. The Ladies' and Men's bathrooms have been completely refurbished. The effort to keep the Club in a prime condition is an ongoing endeavor which is shared by Members and Directors alike.

Directions

From Route 3 in Meredith take 25 E toward Center Harbor and continue on Route 25. When into Moultonborough look for a set of traffic lights at the junction of route 25 and Moultonborough Neck Road. You will see an Aubuchon Hardware store on one side of the road and a Mobil convenience store on the other. Quayside Yacht Club is located at the end of Moultonborough Neck Road, which is 6 miles from the junction. It is across the street from Trexler's Marina.

If traveling west from Moultonborough center on route 25, look for the set of traffic lights at Aubuchon Hardware and Mobil Station and follow the above directions.
